– manufacture of screws, bolts and nuts;
– manufacture, using galvanized wire with a diameter of 0.8 to 2.2 mm, welded meshes for various purposes, used in the assembly of fences, for construction and repair plastering and finishing works, in agriculture, animal husbandry and other types of economic activities.

Low-carbon galvanized steel wire manufactured in accordance the specifications of GOST 1526 is used for:
– armouring of electrical wires and cables.

Galvanized steel wire manufactured according to the process procedures in accordance with the specifications of GOST 9850, is used for:
– manufacture of spring washers (Grover washers);
– cores of bare steel-aluminum and steel-bronze wires.

Wire made of high-quality carbon steels manufactured according to the process procedures in accordance with the specifications of GOST 10702-78, is used for:
– manufacture of bolts and nuts by cold heading.

Alloy steel wire manufactured according to the process procedures in accordance with the specifications of GOST 10702 is used for:
– manufacture of screws, nail screws and self-tapping screws by cold heading.

Welding steel wires (E) made of low-carbon steels of Sv-08, Sv-08A and Sv-08GA grade in accordance with the specifications of GOST 2246 are used for:
– manufacture of steel core electrodes.

Copper-plated steel welding wires (CP) made of alloyed steel of Sv-08GS, Sv-08G2S and Sv-09G2S grades in accordance with the specifications of GOST 2246 are used for:
– welding of various steel parts such as welded pipes, beams, stairs, car body frames, etc;
– welding of steel structures – trusses, which can be seen in bridges, trade and exhibition centers, hangars, warehouses and living quarters;
– surfacing of rolling shafts, etc.

Cold-drawn low-carbon steel wire of die-rolled section, class Вр-1, manufactured in accordance withthe specifications of GOST 6727, is used for:
– manufacture of welded reinforcement, masonry and road meshes;
– reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures.

Carbon steel wires manufactured in accordance with the specifications of GOST 7348 are used for:
– manufacture of prestressed reinforced concrete sleepers for railways, 1520mm gauge, in accordance with the specifications of GOST 10629;
– manufacture of prestressed reinforced concrete sleepers for wide-gauge tramways in accordance with the specifications of GOST 21174;
– reinforcement of prestressed reinforced concrete structures, such as floor slabs of high-rise buildings, bridge beams with large spans, columns and walls of buildings in areas of high seismicity and protective containment of nuclear reactors.

ADVANTAGES

The presence of our own modern steelmaking complex, the newest section rolling mill, specialized wire drawing lines, spheroidizing annealing units in neutral gases, phosphating, copper plating, cold and hot-dip galvanizing lines, allow us to produce wires from various steel grades for a wide variety of applications.

Depending on the purpose, the wires are manufactured both thermally untreated – elastic, and thermally treated – soft (for strapping), or with spheroidizing annealing (for cold heading of hardware). They can also be uncoated or provided with various types of coatings (phosphating, copper plating and zinc plating) and classes (for example, galvanized 1st class – 1C and 2nd – 2C, differing from each other in the surface density of zinc).

The use of carbon steel wires manufactured in accordance with the specifications of GOST 7348 in prestressed reinforced concrete beams makes it possible to increase the width of the overlapped spans, reduce the dimensions of the beam cross-section and, consequently, reduce the volume and weight of the component elements (by 20 – 30%), as well as the consumption cement. Rational use of high-strength properties of steel, with ultimate strength from 1200 to 1500 N/mm2, allows reducing the consumption of reinforcement (rod and wire) by up to 50%.

The chemical neutrality of concrete to steel helps to protect the reinforcing wires from corrosion. At the same time, in prestressed reinforced concrete structures, the crack resistance of concrete increases, which protects the stressed reinforcement itself from rusting in structures under the constant influence of water, other liquids and gases.

The certified Central Plant Laboratory created at the plant is equipped with modern instrumentation, test and spectral analysis equipment, which enables the plant to ensure that all types of wires comply with the requirements of process procedures and regulatory documents.

NOTE

The quality of the wires produced at the plant in large-scale manufacture is certified by Certificate of Conformity No. UZ.SMT.01.328.2378996 of the national certification system of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 29, 2018.
